Group members roles

  • Filming Camera- Sophie Jansen, Voke Oyeye
Myself and Voke took the responsibility to film our music video, as I had experience with the video camera we used we thought this was a good idea. I have had to have practise however before we start filming so I am aware of all its functions and angles.

  • Directing- Victoria Gordon

Vicky has the responsibility of positioning the actors and overseeing the acting, if she can see that something needs to be changed in shot she will tell the actors to do so.

  • Acting- Emily Fry and Jake Verlander
Emily Fry is the female protagonsit and Jake Verlander is the male protagonist, all other characters in our music video will be from the general public.
  • Editing- Emily Fry with support from Victoria Gordon
Emily Fry and Victoria Gordon will be editing as they have had experience with the animatic in final cut pro.

Risk Assessment

Before we started filming, Emily conducted a risk assessment for our group. I believe this is a very efficient way of outlining the risks involved so all group members are aware.

Furthermore it gives us a reminder of the high risks that are involved for example the camera being stolen. This is all evidence of our planning before shooting.

Final Animatic

Our final Animatic

How did we create our animatic?

- Draw storyboard frames- firstly with pencil then bold black pen to enhance the photo

-Individual pictures were taken from a camera

-Uploaded onto our computer

-Placed into photoshop and edited using brightness and contrast to further enhance the framing

-Import the photos into the editing programme- Final cut pro

- Place each image into the time line and cut the length of it

- Place our music "state of flux" into the audio time line

- Effects and transitions added- overlays, earthquake, fade in/out

-Export onto a video uploading programme

-Embed into our blogs
